Next to all the great fashion and interior shops (instant love), we've also seen a lot of Stockholm. We took some boat trips and travelled mostly by subway and city bikes. The city bikes were a no-go for me, as Stockholm isn't flat like Utrecht. Hey, I'm allowed to be lazy when on holiday. Travelling by subway will take you almost anywhere in Stockholm. Except for Rosendals Trädgård, a place you need to visit when you're in Stockholm with good weather! We've layed under the appletrees there to relax with homemade carrot cake. Yum. It's the ultimate picknick spot in the middle of Djurgården. Also, if you ever have the need to escape the city I can really recommend Centralbadet! It's a spa in the center of Stockholm, in what felt like a ' Grand Budapest Hotel' -style. The interior was beautiful. Dinner-tip: K25. A real hotspot if you ask me. An 'urban' foodcourt with lots of booths with fresh and homemade food to choose from and not expensive at all! We've had some great dishes there. For brunch we mostly went to the Espresso house for coffee, yoghurt and a scone. It feels somewhat like a Starbucks, but the interior is more industrial with large couches and bull skulls on the wall.

As nice as Stockholm was, I'm greatful to be back home again. Our home feels like new! And I'm getting back to work soon again! Stockholm gave me lots of inspiration for AVADEM.
